The Valencia Dual Enrollment Application for Spring Semester 2020 is now Open

(This is for new DE students. Current DE students do not need to reapply.)

If you signed up to take the PERT test at SCHS; the test here on campus has been pushed back until the end of September because of the hurricane. Due to this, your student MUST apply to Valencia prior to taking the PERT at SCHS. Then either go to Valencia yourself and take the PERT there (see below) or wait and take it at SCHS at the end of the month. I’d recommend taking it at Valencia first so that if you don’t do your best you will have time to retake it at SCHS (if you had previously signed up to take it here.)

You must submit your test scores. If you took the PERT at SCHS and passed all three sections we will send your scores to Valencia. If you did not take the PERT here or did not pass all three sections you will need to go to Valencia to complete the PERT in their testing center. However, before you can do this you MUST first apply to Valencia. Once you are accepted and receive your Valencia ID Number then you can call the testing center at Valencia to set up a time and date to take the full PERT or the section(s) that you need.

Valencia will also accept scores from ACT/SAT instead of the PERT. Below are the acceptable scores. However the student must submit them directly to Valencia via collegeboard.com  or act.org; please note that there is a 5 week processing time. Test scores will need to be received by Friday, November 01, 2019.

The application closing deadline is Monday, October 04, 2019. Please be sure to complete your application ASAP.

See your counselor if you have any questions.
